| Description |
House on the NW corner of Thirteenth and H Streets, NW as it appeared in the 3/3/07 "Washington Times". The article reports it was built ca. 1853 by William A. Wroe for Georgetown resident John Knott, who used it as a grocery. It was being converted into the main office of the Mutual Fire Insurance Company at the time. The most recent tenant before Mutual Fire Insurance was Matthew Goddard, who had run a grocery out of the house for 20 years. |
