English: Thrushbank, Loweswater. The foreground is in NY1221 and the hill, Low Fell in NY1322, but the more interesting middle-ground is in this square. The white building is Thrushbank, and the road passes in front of it above the fields beyond the lake. High Thrushbank is to the right and Crabtreebeck the house to the left. Above these, pasture dotted with trees merges into the fellside covered in bracken and rocks. |
