Summary

edit
Description Joe pye weed is excellent plant for attracting pollinators and is considered to be deer resistant. This tiger swallowtail (Papilio glaucus) is common in the Northeast, but beware! The caterpillars might be feasting on garden plants like dill, parsley, cilantro and fennel. If you're concerned about the loss of your herbs, just plant more to accommodate the butterflies!
