Description I was really glad to see that the Tilt-a-Whirl still exists. So much has changed about The Fair, but there it was, just like fifty years ago. It was the first ride little children moved up to when they got old enough to do something besides the Merry-Go-Round (which for some reason was never called a carousel in my childhood). Even as teenagers we would sometimes ride the Tilt-a-Whirl as a low-key, calm experience. I was tempted to ride it today. :-)
