English: Timber Boats
This photograph shows two coasters unloading timber at the goods quay of the Old Harbour https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1727915 and was taken from near the harbour master's office on the West Pier https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1730757 . The nearer boat is the Magda Wegener and the other is the Estebrügge, both out of Hamburg. The buildings beyond are on Sandside. The part timber frame building (just right of centre) is the Golden Ball public house. Also seen is the Bethel Mission Chapel https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1766337 (third from the left).
