Türkçe: Kara Timurtaş Paşa, Osman Gazi'nin silah arkadaşlarından Aygut Alp'in torunudur. Babası Kara Ali Bey olup, yine Osman Gazi'nin mücadelelerine katılmış ve 1308'de kendisine verilen bir müfreze ile Apolyont Gölü (Ulubat Gölü) üzerindeki Alyos adasının zaptına gönderilmiş ve orayı sulhen alarak orada bulunan büyük bir kilisenin Rumlarca hürmet edilen papazını ailesiyle Osman Gazi'ye getirmiş, papazın güzelliği ile meşhur kızını, Osman Gazi, Kara Ali Bey'e nikahlamıştır. Hereke kalesi kuşatmasında Kara Ali Bey'in gözüne bir ok isabet ederek sakat bırakmıştır. |
