English: Tin Sandcastles. These decorative Tin Sandcastles at the Western end of Whitley Bay Promenade are actually seats facing out to sea. The Lighthouse in the picture is St. Mary's and is on St. Mary's Island, originally called Bait Island and is only accessible at low tide.
