Kommentar: Diese Münze gehört zur einzigen Cistophorenemission des Kaisers Titus, die bis in die ersten Regierungsjahre seines Bruders Domitianus weitergeprägt wurde. Aufgrund der wenigen Cistophoren des Titus sowie anhand der Konsulatsjahrangabe VII auf den Münzen im Namen des Domitianus kann die gesamte Emission in das Jahre 80-81 n. Chr. datiert werden. Als Prägestätte wird aufgrund großer stilistischer Ähnlichkeiten zu den Porträts der römischen Reichsprägung Rom angenommen. Vgl. RIC II-1² 194-195.
