| Description |
Fresh nestling eastern bluebird tartar, served in a sauce of it's own panicked excrement. This was a gruesome, but kind of amazing scene. There were two side-by-side bird boxes, and the rat snake had half his body in the other, bracing it against the inside so that he could dislodge his bird-filled head from the other. Either way, he was enjoying his meal, as evidenced by his tongue shamelessly hanging out. I'll spare you some of the other shots, most of which included the bluebird, which was quite alive, flailing about with his head and wings hanging out of the snakes mouth. |
