English:

Tom McDonald (1881-1937), was a star tackle and Captain of the University of Washington football team in 1905, and along with coach Oliver Cutts, lead the Huskies to a 4-2-2 record that year. On November 20, 1903, Tom met Chief Joseph (leader of the Wallowa band of the Nez Perce Tribe) and his nephew Red Thunder when they came with Edmond Meany to watch a University of Washington football game in Seattle.
