Description Am Gleithang der Rheinkurve bildeten sich durch fortwährende Kiesablagerungen auf natürliche Weise Inseln, für die sich der Namen Tomateninseln einbürgerte, da hier bei niedrigen Wasserständen Tomaten wuchsen. Mit Mitteln des EU-Förderprogrammes Life+ wurden die Tomateninseln 2014 umgestaltet. Das Bild zeigt die Inseln auf der rechten Bildseite
