DescriptionTopofJanusFigure.jpg |
English: Caldragh Graveyard, Boa Island, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. The two-headed Boa Island Janus figure. Top view of two-headed stone. Part of the reason that this is detrimental to the well-being of this stone is that there is a basin shaped receptacle between the heads, which could collect water and ice in frosty weather. As at many other places here, people have a habit of leaving small mementos like coins of their visit. |
