Dansk: I december 1717 var Tordenskjold på vej til København i en lille hukkert med fire kanoner. Undervejs blev han angrebet af en svensk kaper med 16 kanoner, men da svenskerne gav ham mulighed for at indstille den ulige kamp, greb Tordenskjold en musket og skød den svenske kaptajn. Han blev tilsyneladende såret, og i den efterfølgende forvirring lykkedes det Tordenskjold at undslippe med sit skib. Farvelitografi på papir, opklæbet på pap. Usigneret. English: In December 1717 the Danish naval officer Peder Wessel Tordenskjold was heading for Copenhagen in a small 4-gun vessel. He was attacked by a Swedish 16-gun ship, but when the Swedes closed in and asked for his surrender, he fired a musket at the Swedish captain, presumably wounding him. In the ensuing confusion, the small Danish ship managed to escape. Colour lithograph on paper, glued on cardboard.
