| Description |
English: Towards Otter Cove and Straight Point I have allocated the photo to this square to highlight the difficulty of reaching it. The land in the square is the left-most half of this section of coast, but only the rocks at the bottom of the cliff. The rest of the coast to the right is Littleham Cove in SY0480. On top of the cliff is Straight Point range, an army firing area in SY0379, with buoys out to sea marking the danger area.
Just beyond the centre of the picture, the bit sticking out, is Otter Cove. The dots in the water are surfers. The white dot is another one coming down with his board. Presumably they are army personnel. Now, if one of them had a camera! |
