English: Towards The Old Footbridge The Landranger and Explorer maps show this old structure as a footbridge. All that's left of it is some stonework and a few rotting timbers. There's a sign warning people to keep out as the bridge is "under repair", which is a nice way of saying "falling to bits". The stretch of river up to bridge is in this square. The bridge itself is in the next one. |
