English: Town Centre, Rochdale, Lancashire At this time (1963), there was no bus station, so all the buses started in the Town Centre. All the buses shown here belonged to Rochdale Corporation, who were in the throes of changing the livery of the buses from blue, with cream relief, to cream, with blue relief. Vehicles in eacj of these liveries can be seen. Note the very few private motor cars visible. |
