English: Town Common from Dudmoor Lane This sandy track leads across Town Common to Blackwater Hill. The water in the foreground is a wet area that builds up against the raised course of Dudmoor Lane (behind the photographer), which follows the dismantled Avon valley railway line. The roofed noticeboard on the left displays information about the nature reserve and volunteer conservation projects. The hill is the distance is the "viewpoint" in Ramsdown Plantation, on the far side of the A338 dual carriageway. |
