Summary edit

Description
English: Beamish Museum, County Durham, England. This advert for Hall's Distemper (a type of whitewash) is on the north embankment of the Town railway, a few yards east of the east footbridge. This was apparently a world famous brand in the early 20th Century, with line-side adverts like this all over the railways.
