Description
English: Eastern abutment, remains of Neath and Brecon Railway bridge over the River Usk

Author Flying Stag

The abutments are all that remain of the lattice girder bridge over the River Usk at Trallong, Powys. Taken in early summer, the three deep slots in the stonework can just about be seen through the foliage. The two lefthand slots in this view of the eastern abutment carried the main girders of the bridge; the third slot was never used as the railway line - the Neath and Brecon Railway - was never doubled as originally intended.
