Description
English: Tramlines near Berwick. Wheatfield in a field that extends from the railway to Common Lane. All this land was once Berwick Common still extant on the 1813 OS map but enclosed sometime during the 19th century, possibly when the railway came. Taken from the Vanguard Way which runs through this field to Berwick. The gap in the Downs in the distance is formed by the Cuckmere valley.
