ve been drilled. Almost all of this has been ofsmall size and no holes have been deeper than 600 feet. Allwork is done by contract, the company furnishing power andwater. The mineralized portion of the core is sampled and theresults are found to agree remarkably well with those of the orebody when opened up. From several holes the cuttings werecollected every few feet and analyzed. As the values were awayhigh this method was abandoned. The location of all drill holesis surveyed and the co-ordinates and elevation above sea-level ofthe collar of every hole noted. If the hole varies from the verticalthe course and dip are also kept. Drill holes can then be plottedindependently of all other information. These figures are kept-et of books together with all other fad.- regardingthis work.
