Many years ago, in the post war period, Trasimeno waters retreated and the lands freed were used for agronomy and other economical purpuses. Lather the waters raised and so, regained their original shores. The unfurtunate trees planted had not chance to survive and remained there. These are the remains, just behind the swamps.
