Description
Deutsch: Karden, nordwestlich gelegene Gebäude des Schlosshotels Petry, rechts im Bild das 1719 erbaute Wohnhaus des ehemaligen Franziskanerinnenklosters. Das Wohnhaus ist ein verputzter Bruchsteinbau mit neun Achsen und drei Geschossen über einem hohen Kellergeschoss und abgewalmtem Satteldach. Der Querbau und Anbauten an der Nordseite sind neueren Datums. (Beschreibung lt. Ernst Wackenroder: Die Kunstdenkmäler des Landkreises Cochem, ISBN 3-422-00561-7. Im 13. Jahrhundert stand ein Schloss an der Stelle des späteren Klosters.
