Description
Français : Triens au nom de l’empereur Anastase (491-518), attribuable à Poitiers (Vienne) ou Périgueux (Dordogne).

Avers : DN ANASTASIVS PPAVC buste diadémé, drapé et cuirassé à droite. Revers : VICTORI/AA/VCVS7 Victoire marchant à droite, tenant une palme et une couronne. CONOB à l’exergue. Lettre P retournée à gauche dans le champ.

La dernière lettre a été lue T par Belfort. Elle correspond à un 7. Cette pièce frappée après 507 peut dater également de l’époque de Thierry Ier. Il existe deux ateliers dont le nom commence par P : Petrocoris et Pictavis. Voir Lafaurie, Clovis, p.789 et 800.
