Deutsch: Trompetentälchen bei Schwenden, Bad Grönenbach, Landkreis Unterallgäu. Erfasst als Geotop "Ziegelberger Trompetentälchen", Geotop Nr. 778R003. Während der Rückzugsphase des Gletschers entsteht zwischen Eisrand und Endmoräne ein Stausee, der zu gegebener Zeit an der tiefsten Endmoränenstelle überläuft. Die Wassermassen schneiden sich aufgrund des hohen Gefälles tief in den Endmoränenabschnitt ein. Das Foto zeigt das Tälchen in Blickrichtung Norden, d.h. in die Richtung, in die das Wasser am Ende der letzten alpinen Eiszeit (Würm) abfloss. Dieses Trompetentälchen ist eine große Rarität, weil es im Urzustand (bis auf omnipräsente Verwitterung) konserviert wurde, da die entstehende "Iller" bereits kurz nach dem Durchbruch ihr neues Flussbett fand. |
