Description
Nederlands: Repronegatief. Op de foto van links naar rechts staan twee vrouwen naast een man. De vrouwen zijn gekleed in pangi en blouse. Ze dragen Sepu (Saramakka) of Sepun (Ndyuka) vlak onder de knie en de vrouw rechts draagt ringen boven de enkels van haar rechterbeen. Op haar voorhoofd is ze getatoeëerd. Vroeger waren vrouwen genoodzaakt hun bovenlijf te bedekken bij een bezoek aan Paramaribo, terwijl ze dit in de dorpen van hun woongebied niet hoefden te doen. Tegenwoordig dragen de meeste vrouwen een blouse of bh in combinatie met de pangi in de dorpen. De man draagt een broek en dyemba (koosi): een kleed onder zijn rechterarm door en geknoopt boven zijn linkerschouder.
