Summary edit

Description
English: Tropical Storm Emily is the fifth named storm of the Atlantic Hurricane Season 2011. Emily looks strong in this image but remains poorly organized. The dry air to the north and west of the storm is not ideal for strengthening, and the reliable GFS and ECMWF models show the cyclone dissipating near Hispaniola. Nevertheless, Emily could bring 4-6 inches of rain to Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic leading to mudslides and flash floods. This image is from GOES East at 1445Z on August 2, 2011.
