English: Two Neolithic axes of flint from Grolanda parish in Vilske hundred (formerly Frökind hundred), Falköpings municipality, former Skaraborg county, Västergötland, Sweden. They are both belonging to the Funnelbeaker culture during the early and middle Neolithic. The axe above has a length of 40.8 cm. The axe below has a length of 34.5 cm.
Svenska: Två neolitiska tunnackiga flintyxor från Grolanda socken i Vilske härad (tidigare Frökinds härad), Falköpings kommun, f.d. Skaraborgs län, Västergötland, Sverige. De dateras båda till Trattbägarkulturen (TRB) under bondestenåldern (TN eller MNA). Den övre flintyxan är 40,5 cm lång, är funnen på Kyrkebol Önas mark (gården ligger på koordinaterna N 58° 6', E 13° 25' 5"), skänktes till Falbygdens museum år 1984 och har inventarienummer 2486 (2M16-F2486). Den nedre flintyxan är 34,5 cm lång, hittades på Simonstorps mark (gården ligger på koordinaterna N 58° 04' 43", Ö 13° 23' 33") och har inventarienummer 1938:1 (2M16-F1938-01). |
