Copie du cartel : L’usage de cette grande vasque demeure inconnu. Son décor, structuré et complexe, a nécessité un dessin préparatoire réalisé à l’aide d’un poncif. Le bleu de cobalt, utilisé pour les traits de contours et les fonds, se décline en de multiples nuances. À l’extérieur, les réseaux superposés de demi-palmettes (rumi), de fleurs chinoises (hatayi) et de rubans sinueux créent l’illusion d’une profondeur. Palmettes et fleurs animées s’agrippent aux tiges qui les environnent.
