English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Dutch gymnastics talents are trained by Russian trainers at sports centre Papendal. The Koninklijke Nederlandse Gymnastiek Vereniging (KNGV, Royal Dutch Gymnastics Federation) hopes that by doing this the Dutch talents will be able to compete with the best international gymnasts. During the National Championship in Ridderkerk the talents Bibi Vos and Ingrid Bolleboom, who were trained at Papendal, win the national title in their age groups. SHOTS: gymnasts train at Papendal; backwards flip Bibi Vos (slow motion); Russian trainer Albert Azarian; end of the floor exercise of Vos at the National Championships; jump off by Vos from the uneven bars into a 'pitfall' filled with foam plastic; Asarjan gives instructions to Vos; wife of Asarjan gives Bolleboom gymnastics lessons in front of a wall of mirrors; Bolleboom on the balance beam at the National Championships, falling off.

Op sportcentrum Papendal worden Nederlandse turntalenten opgeleid door Russische trainers.
