Español: El Ministerio de Defensa informa que por primera vez una aeronave DH6 Twin Otter de la Fuerza Aérea Argentina (FAA) unió la base antártica Marambio con la Belgrano 2 -la más austral de nuestro país-, en el marco de la llamada Operación Polar, cuyo objetivo es abrir una ruta que permita futuros apoyos aéreos a este último punto geográfico aislado, donde vive un reducido grupo de ciudadanos argentinos.
A instancias del Comando Conjunto Antártico, dependiente del Comando Operacional de las Fuerzas Armadas, la aeronave de la FAA concretó la operación el 10 de este mes, a las 15.33, anevizando en la zona aledaña al Nunatak Bertrab. |
