English: Two Arecaceae (palm trees) in the fields viewed through a hole in a tree trunk damaged by fire in Don Tao (Si Phan Don, Laos), at sunset. Impression of a natural organic frame or window highlighting the main subject of the landscape. Droste effect and self-reference (recursion), poetically this picture shows two healthy trees like a rebirth through the carcass of a third one in the foreground.
Français : Deux Arecaceae (palmiers) dans les champs vus à travers un trou dans le tronc d'un arbre abîmé par le feu à Don Tao (Si Phan Don, Laos), au coucher du soleil. Impression d'un cadre ou fenêtre naturelle organique mettant en valeur le sujet principal du paysage. Effet Droste et auto-référence (récursion), poétiquement cette image montre deux arbres sains comme une renaissance à travers la carcasse d'un troisième au premier plan.
