English: Two Plaques These two plaques commemorate the land reclamation scheme that saw virtually all the above ground remains of Pilsley Colliery, its spoil heaps, the railway cutting, sidings, and viaduct (over Locko Road) removed and the land returned to agricultural and pleasure use.
The plaques are situated on 322682 just to the left of the 322894. See also this photograph taken by Tony Hawes, 328661. |
