Summary edit

Description

I saw Athyrium filix-femina ssp. cyclosorum (lady fern), seen in the center of this photo, growing with Polystichum munitum (western sword fern) and next to a roadside ditch, while out on a walk today. The horsetail is Equisetum telmateia ssp. braunii

With help from erwin_pteridophilos on iNaturalist, the Athyrium filix-femina ssp. cyclosorum is seen in the Pacific Northwest, there is a detailed description at eflora www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=1&taxon_id=2...
