Description
Deutsch: Die Reichsanstalt für Luftschutz ging am 1. April 1935 aus der preußischen Luftschutz- und Luftpolizeischule hervor. Organisatorisch war sie vollständig dem Reichsluftfahrtministerium unter Hermann Göring unterstellt und hatte zusammen mit der Reichsluftschutzschule und der Luftpolizeischule ihren Sitz in der Friesenstraße 16, Berlin-Kreuzberg. Ein wichtiger Arbeitsbereich war die Erteilung von Vertriebsgenehmigungen nach § 8 des Luftschutzgesetzes: Alle Produkte, die für Luftschutzzwecke hergestellt, beworben und vertrieben werden sollten, mussten auf ihre Eignung geprüft und genehmigt werden. Positiv getestete Luftschutzgegenstände erhielten eine Kenn-Nummer zugeteilt, mit der sie auch gekennzeichnet werden mussten. Noch heute findet man gelegentlich Typenschilder oder Stempelungen, die anzeigen, wann ein Produkt für Luftschutzzwecke zugelassen wurde: Rother's Schutzraumtür Kenn.-Nr. RL3-37/237 (gassicher, stahlsparende Bauweise, verleimte Sperrholzplatte), Einbau Schreinermeister Friedrich Lethaus, Düsseldorf
