English: The circular red mark in this photo is an example of a typical skin telangiectasia, as seen here on an HHT patient's hand. As opposed to "cherry angiomas" (which can have a very similar surface appearance), telangiectasias lose their color when direct pressure is applied, becoming red again upon release as blood re-fills the vessel. |
