DescriptionU.S.-Bundeswehr medical training.jpg |
English: Bundeswehr soldiers rush into the "Viper Pit" during Combat Lifesaver training in Wiesbaden, Germany, May 12. The Viper Pit is a room designed to inflict stress on trainees by bombarding them with loud commands, sirens, smoke, sounds of gunfire, simulated injuries and fake blood. Called "stress inoculation" the training is designed to prepare trainees to remain calm under stressful conditions. |
