Description
English: U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Robert B. Brown, left, the commanding general of I Corps, pins the Silver Star to the uniform of Sgt. Peter Cimpoes, assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, during a special ceremony at Saint Martin's Marcus Pavilion in Lacey, Wash., March 20, 2013. During the ceremony, Soldiers of the battalion were also awarded another Silver Star, seven Bronze Star Medals with "V" device for Valor, 11 Purple Hearts, four Army Commendation Medals with "V" Device for Valor and a Joint Service Commendation Medal with "V" device.
