Description
English: U.S. Navy landing craft, air cushion with Assault Craft Unit 4 land on a beach at Cap Draa, Morocco, after departing the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) April 12, 2012. The LCACs carried Marines with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit and their equipment in support of African Lion 2012. African Lion is an annually scheduled joint/combined U.S.-Moroccan exercise sponsored by U.S. Africa Command and designed to promote interoperability and mutual understanding of each nation's military tactics, techniques and procedures.
