English: University of Cincinnati banner, designed for en:Template:University of Cincinnati on Wikepedia. Photos of McMicken Hall and Tangeman University Center were taken by myself, T.D. Walls. The purpose of the image is to give a quick, positive, and unified impression of the University of Cincinnati in all University of Cincinnati-related Wikipedia articles containing the UC category template. The template is designed to positively convey visual information about the University using it's two most recognizable buildings to convey a sense of history, mimicking the main university commons where these steeples stand opposite. The hope being to intice futher exploration, as well as addition of more information about the University to Wikipedia. |
