Description
English: Fern Ridge Dam on the Long Tom River in Lane County, Oregon, USA. The dam is located approximately 12 miles (19 km) west of Eugene, Oregon. The dam forms a large reservoir named Fern Ridge Lake. The dam has six tainter gates to control the flow of water through the dam. The dam is an earth-fill dam, approximately 1.5 miles (2.3 km) long. This photograph shows only the water-control structure of the dam.
