Joel Weatherhead of Kunsan Air Base, Korea, wave to bystanders here at the end of the 32nd Des Moines Register's Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa. The cyclists were among the more than 100 members of Team Air Force and almost 10,000 other riders in the weeklong, 490-mile ride across the state. Team Air Force rode into town at high noon July 31 in a two-column formation, a RAGBRAI tradition.
