A pregnant Haitian woman went into labor on the flight deck of the cutter as a Coast Guard HH-60 Jayhawk helicopter was refueling. A rescue swimmer from the helicopter delivered the five-pound boy. The mother and child were then taken to a hospital in Cap Haitien, Haiti, for further medical treatment.
