Description
English: Marines from Marine Attack Squadron 513 get off an Air Force KC-135 at the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Ariz., Jan. 23, 2010, after returning from a six-month deployment with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit based in Japan. A detachment of four AV-8B Harriers and approximately 45 Marines reunited with friends and family at the Nightmares’ hangar. “The Marines did splendidly while on deployment,” said Lt. Col. Marcus Annibale, VMA-513 commanding officer. “They represented our country and Corps well and we didn’t have a single problem while there.” While on deployment, the Nightmares participated in exercises Wolmi-Do Fury and Ryuku Warrior.
