Description
English: Hula dancers perform for Makahiki celebrants at the base of Pyramid Rock during Makahiki opening ceremonies last week. The dancers sang traditional Hawaiian songs as well as a few festive new tunes, all in Hawaiian. The sunset ceremony lasted well into the night as groups performed and participants talked story for hours.
