Description A photo of the U.S. Navy photo reconnaissance planes in use in the early 1950s. From top to bottom: Consolidated P4Y-1P Liberator, Beech SNB-2P, Vought F4U-5P Corsair, Grumman F6F-5P Hellcat, Grumman F8F-2P Bearcat, Grumman F9F-5P Panther, and McDonnell F2H-2P Banshee. Aircraft with the tail code "PP" belonged to composite squadron VC-61 Eyes of the Fleet, aircraft with the tail code "PL" to VC-62 Fighting Photos.
