| Description | U.S. Navy Unit Commendation pennant, flown by ships which have won the award, which is given to unites which distinguish themselves in action against the enemy with outstanding heroism. The colors are supposed to be royal blue, spanish yellow, scarlet (or red) and hunter green. If won more than once, a bronze star is added to the center stripe for each additional win (up to five).
