Description
English: The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Antietam (CVA-36) passes under Brooklyn Bridge on way to New York Naval Shipyard, New York City (USA), on 3 August 1953. The mast is visible on the flight deck. It had to be removed to be able to pass under the Brooklyn Bridge. Note the recently added angled flight deck.
