Description
English: Andaman Sea (Jan. 19, 2005) — The guided missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG-65) maneuvers in the Andaman Sea off the coast of the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. Navy helicopters are using Benfold as a refueling station for relief flights into Sumatra, Indonesia. Benfold is assigned to the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) Carrier Strike Group, currently operating in the Indian Ocean off the waters of Indonesia and Thailand in support of Operation Unified Assistance.
