English: The aircraft carrier USS Nimitz in dry-dock at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. The aircraft carrier is preparing for a yearlong docking planned incremental availability for major upgrades to its combat, self-defense, navigation, potable water systems and other components.
